Day After --

Cabin fever yesterday. I put on the gear and down to the road. Cleared around the water feature and cold so  back up the drive. For some reason I'm not getting recovery. I can't imagine I'm that far out of shape!

We need to assess just precisely what sort of shape we're in.

Scale: WeightWatchers Conair -- It provides weight, BMI, fat %, hydration %, bone density. So far it's hard to get the readings while they flash twice. We're getting systematic about it.

229  lbs.

Bone density 6.8 -- above target for my age, which is good.

Always about 49% hydrated. 50% is target.

BMI is 32 -- target is 25, or is that fat?

Fat at 32%, -- target is 25, or is that BMI? (I think they're sorta the same.)

Dogged Doggerel

Weight seems to be hovering around 225 / up and down.

New Weightwatchers / Conair digital scale, provides bone mass, water %, fat %, BMI

Cleared out, organized the weight machine, bench in the garage. Not using it right now.

Work on dam project is wearing me out, slow recovery. But we're wearing the walking clothes/shoes out and about -- gear in the car. Able to work in a walk at the drop of clear weather.,

Recent build, water feature.
Some erosion control for downstream culvert. It's weight work. We've been walking, stretching . . .  Muscle tone, mass, movement.

Monday, November 16, 2015

Past several weeks we've been constructing a "dam" -- erosion control for a culvert running under my drive. The upshot of all this is a great deal of heavy physical labor, moving rock, driving piles, digging, clearing. End result is physical exhaustion from which I need to recover. Muscle fatigue is causing me to be clumsy, loss of fine motor control in hands.
